2020 Chamber Annual Dinner Cancelled
Thank you for your partnership in the Genoa Area Chamber of Commerce. Each year, the collective talents of the Chamber bring together local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders to make the Genoa Area a great place to live, work and grow. In recent years, the Genoa Area Chamber of Commerce has:
Sponsored various community-wide events including car shows, Genoa Homecoming, and Genoa Harvest Fest
Supported the opening of local businesses
Engaged with state and local elected officials to bring attention to the needs of the Genoa area
Provided financial support to various causes that strengthen our youth, families, and community
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted numerous events this year and we are sad to announce that the Annual Dinner has also been canceled. While gatherings in 2020 have been limited, a lot of great things are still happening in our community and in our chamber! In the absence of the dinner, the Executive Board has voted to use funds to purchase a new live Christmas tree for our village. In addition, we are excited to share the news that on Sunday, November 29, the Village of Genoa will start the holidays with a Holiday Drive-Thru Christmas Event. Look on our Facebook page for more details coming soon!
