Genoa's Cruise In Car Shows are a local favorite that draws patrons from all over the area to beautiful downtown Genoa. We "Cruise-in" on the last Tuesday of June, July and August with our kick-off show happening the Thursday evening of Genoa's Homecoming.

Our shows feature DJ Cruisin Zeake and we give out cash prizes and gas cards. In addition, we give back to local charities with our 50/50 raffle.

Cruise-In Parking Info

  • Road Closures:  At 4 PM Main St. between 6th and 8th Streets in downtown will be closed.

  • Main Street Parking:

    • Cruisers who want to park on Main Street in downtown (between 8th and 6th Streets) need to pre-stage at Veteran’s Memorial Park south (to the right) of the Big Dipper Ice Cream Shoppe.  You will find this area off Washington Street between 8th and 5th Streets.  Look for the signs directing you to the pre-stage parking area.

    • At 4 pm, a representative will be there to greet you and provide directions to access the downtown parking area.

    • Once the downtown area is cleared, the Police will lead the pre-staged Cruisers into the downtown area.

    • Cruisers who pre-stage will be parked in order starting at the west side of Main Street (by Ray’s), continuing down the west side of Main St. and then down the east side.

    • As much as we would like to, we cannot allow parking spots to be saved, etc.  If you want to park together, please plan to arrive together.

    • We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we try to park cars as quickly as possible. Given the forecasted high temperatures, if you are concerned with your car overheating, we encourage you to use the designated early parking areas.

  • Early Parking:  If you prefer to park early (and not pre-stage), you may park:

    • In the Genoa Town Hall parking lot, just past the Town Hall at the corner of Main St. and East 6th St.

    • On East 6th Street between Main and Washington Streets

    • On Main Street, south of 6th Street {between 6th and 5th Streets)
